Alexander Holiday Cottage
Alexander Cottage sleeps 5 to 8 and is up a few steps from the rugged Gamrie beach. The cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage dating back to the 19th century.
The cottage is deceptively spacious with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom upstairs. On the ground floor is a comfortable lounge, a kitchen with large farmhouse table as well as a bathroom which includes a bath with a shower over. Outside there is a terraced garden heading up the hill. There is a decking area with table and chairs.
The cottage is furnished in a traditional style with many antiques. In the lounge there are two sofas one of which can pull out to a sofa bed when required. There is a fireplace with multi fuel stove. There is a digital television with Freeview The kitchen is fully equipped with a large farmhouse table for dining. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The first is a twin bedroom with 2 single oak beds and an antique wardrobe and bedside table. There is also a footstool which can pull out to a single bed if required. The window has side views out to the sea. The double bedroom has a pine double bed, a reproduction antique bedside cabinet and an antique wardrobe and chest of drawers. The window has side views out to the sea. The single bedroom has an antique Edwardian bed in the Arts and Crafts style. The bed is larger than a standard single. The window also has side views out to the sea.
The cottage has both electric heating and a solid fuel heating system powered by the stove in the lounge. All electricity costs are included in our tariff.
Parking is available within a 5 minute walk of the cottage on the public road. Parking is free.

Alexander Cottage Gardenstown is a self catering holiday cottage available for weekly lets throughout the year. In the low season short breaks are available by arrangement.
