Gowanbank is a 5 bedroomed large double fronted Victorian house in one of the most prestigious streets in Huntly. The house is detached with gardens to the front and back. There is private parking for several cars on the long driveway to the side of the house. Gowanbank has 5 bedrooms, two large lounges, a separate dining room, large kitchen/ diner, a downstairs toilet and wash hand basin, a downstairs shower room and an upstairs bathroom with bath and shower over. The house was built in 1900 for the Duke of Gordon's Factor. The Duke of Gordon's Factor managed the estates of the Duke of Gordon and commensurate with his importance, Gowanbank sits higher than all of the other houses in the street!
The house is a perfect example of its era with many Arts and Crafts details like the exquisite wood work and the beautiful original stained glass. There are fire places in most of the rooms although they are not in use.
The heating in the house is gas central heating throughout.

Gowanbank is a self catering holiday house and is available for weekly lets throughout the year from Saturday to Saturday. In the low season short breaks are available by arrangement.
