Soundwaves is a stunning seaside holiday cottage on the seafront at Gardenstown. The cottage sleeps 6 to 8 with 2 double and 1 twin bedroom. The double sofa bed in the lounge sleeps an additional 2 people. There are uninterrupted sea views from every room in the cottage. Our Gardenstown holiday cottage was originally a fisher man'scottage and net store dating back to the last century. The cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard with a handmade dining kitchen, a luxury bathroom with free standing bath and large walk in shower and the master bedroom has an ensuite shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large electric range cooker, a free standing Gorenje fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The kitchen table can comfortably sit up to 8 people. The lounge has 2 large windows with far reaching views over Gamrie bay. At high tide you feel that you could touch the waves. The cottage has electric heating but also has the benefit of 2 solid fuel stoves. The cottage has been insulated to modern standards so is warm and cosy at any time of year. The cottage was named Soundwaves not only because of the sound of the waves outside the windows but because the worldwide hit "Sailing" as sung by Rod Stewart was composed inside the cottage.
